LookyApp app for iPhone and iPad

-LookyApp is a social networking app.

-LookyApp is going to be crowd-sourced real-time news app.

-The primary goal of this app is to plot user submitted photos on world map. Combined with search for description, distance and date/time, LookyApp can answer “Is anyone in my area selling an iPhone?”. Once found the photo provides link to contact the poster using a simple text message.

-On start of LookyApp, users are greeted with world map and all photos taken in last 24hrs. The geographical locations with most photos are easily accessed. These are Hotspots. Drilling down on Hotspots will zoom in on the map and show you what is really happening on the ground. This way on start of LookyApp, users can see hotspots, meaning sources of news for last 24 hrs. Photos older than 24hrs can be searched for based on description, date/time and distance from what users has currently pointed the map to.

-Users can take photos from the app and instantly upload them to the site. Upon upload, only the original poster can change the description and administer the photo, making it invisible to others or not… Or simply delete it…

-LookyApp allows pictures and descriptions of real time events to be shared with the world. It allows users to point on a location on map and receive photos uploaded by users in that geographical region. Search can be performed for keywords, GPS locations and time. Newly uploaded photos can be seen as they are uploaded by users. Users can message posters, export photos to their social media sites or email.
